Beginner/Puppy Courses
Who are they for?
Our Beginner/Puppy Courses are for owners of puppies and young friendly adolescent and/or rescue dogs. Our aim is to teach the owners how to turn their pups into well mannered and social companions who they can take anywhere with them.
What do we teach?
Our aim is to help the owners improve their dog’s behaviour and listening skills both at home and when out for a walk. We aim to teach :
• How dogs learn and how they communicate with us
• How to bond with your dog and build up a relationship
• How to train your dog to walk on the lead nicely
• How to train your dog to come back to you
• How to play with your dog and Stay in Control
• How to groom and handle your dog
When and where?
The courses are held on Thursday evenings at 7pm at Chacombe Village Hall, which is located on the edge of Chacombe Village, which is about 5 minutes from the M40 (junction 11).

How long and How Much?
The sessions are 40 minutes long and the courses last 8 weeks.
The cost for the 8 week course is £40, which includes membership of the club for the year. After the course you may wish to continue training your dog and register for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Course.

One to One Training
If you have a dog with an anti-social behaviour problem or any other problem which cannot be solved in a class environment we offer 'One to One' training sessions. Please contact Carla on 01869 810646 for further information.
IMPORTANT: Please do not bring bitches in season or dogs showing any signs of illness to the classes.
